Dawit Getachew is a music award winning Ethiopian singer, song writer, arranger and producer. He is considered one of the most influential artists in Jazz Christian music. Dawit not only sings but also teaches music at "Mekane Yesus Seminary" school of Jazz music. He is also part of the group of Zema for Christ choir. His first CD titled "Etebekehalehu" has been a blessing since it was released.
